Kimberly is an award-winning communication professional specializing in social marketing. She has nearly 20 years of experience creating memorable public and private sector campaigns that influence audience behavior, many of which have been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America. In the public sector, she worked with federal agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Defense Health Agency, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and U.S. Department of Justice to create campaigns on topics including health care coverage, vector-borne disease, suicide prevention, respiratory illness, tobacco education, and preventing violence against children. In the private sector, she worked in the entertainment industry—specifically for Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals and FOX television’s America’s Most Wanted—focusing on community outreach and engagement. In addition, she volunteers with DECA and previously worked with Deloitte Foundry at the Savannah College of Art and Design, mentoring students and emerging leaders for careers in marketing. Kimberly has a Master of Arts in Communication in Contemporary Society from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from The Catholic University of America.
